XL20i

The XL20i’s SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) Rating of up to 20.00 is among the highest energy efficiency rating of any air conditioner available today.

Two Climatuff Compressors: One that is sufficient for mild weather conditions and a second larger compressor for more extreme outdoor temperatures. It’s like having two units in one. The Multi-stage fan motor adjusts speed automatically to quietly provide maximum comfort.

Comfort-R Technology - When Properly matched with a variable speed indoor unit from Trane, the XL20i has another special feature called Comfort-R. By Enhancing the airflow, it gives you greater humidity removal during the cooling cycle. During system start-up, the fan starts slightly slower before reaching full speed. When properly managing these run cycles, room to room temperature variances are improved for the optimum in home comfort.

ComfortLink communicating technology (available when matched with communicating indoor units) connects all of your key components so your system automatically charges, configures and calibrates for optimal performance and efficiency through the lifetime of your products. When the optional Telephone Access Module (TAM) is added, you can conveniently adjust settings and receive system updates wherever you are by phone.

XL16i

Two Seperate Stages of Home Comfort

This Air Conditiner offers Two stages of cooling. The first cooling stage runs at only a portion of the units full capacity. This helps prevent indoor temperature swings as well as temperature differences between rooms. This is achieved through better air circulation in the home as the result of the longer run cycle of the first stage. Second Stage acts as a reserve for the hottest days.

The XL16i has a maximum SEER rating of up to 17.15, which makes it an energy efficient choice for home comfort.

The standard air cleaners on the market have filters that are very dense. Meaning they try to stop the dust by trapping it in a slightly porous filter. The fewer the pores the more dust it can trap. However, this not only stops the dust and dirt, but it also stops the air from moving as well. In other words, the amount of air that goes through your system is reduced so you may not be as comfortable. Less air is cleaned efficiently. This is called pressure drop. The revolutionary Trane CleanEffects air filtration system has the lowest pressure drop with the highest efficiency possible. Our unique patented technology is designed to let air flow freely through the most advanced filtration system available.
