We had a great experience with the salesman, Dylan, very courteous and friendly. Explained the contract and total cost for a new unit. It is great to have someone we can trust. The guys came to install our unit very friendly and were here at the time that we were given for the installation to be done. The work with taking out the old unit and replacing the new unit was done very professionally, great work! We are very pleased with everyone that had a part with the replacement of our new unit. We recommend Roland Black Heating and Cooling.

Roland Black has been our company for the past 15 years and is a company that is trustworthy, honest, and the best in the business! Sadly, during my semi-annual servicing, the technician, Kellen, found that our air conditioner compressor for our upstairs had issues and either needed a replacement compressor or be replaced. Daily temperatures were very hot and with my wife being severely handicapped and bedbound upstairs, I asked what the best solution to fix the issue and it became clear that replacement was the fastest and most cost-effective fix. The Roland Black manager/comfort consultant, Dylan, assured me that a replacement unit would be installed in less than 24 hours and that Roland Black would also temporarily install a large portable air conditioning unit in the room that my severely handicapped wife was to keep her room cool during the replacement unit swap. Dylan then installed the portable AC unit which immediately cooled our master bedroom to a comfortable temperature for my wife. Early the next morning, the Roland Black installation crew, Russ and Michael, came to our home and immediately went to work on removing the old AC unit and installing the new air conditioning equipment. The Roland Black electrician, Jake, came by to ensure that all electrical was installed properly to meet and exceed York Electric’s inspection. The entire operation was completed the installation and cleanup was done by noon in just 18 hours after the agreeing to replace the bad unit with a new one. Finally, the Roland Black manager/quality control inspector, Clarence came by an hour after the installation was complete to inspect the project and ensure it was up to the high standards of Roland Black. The Roland Black team are outstanding experienced professionals, honest and caring to customers’ needs. The Roland Black team of professionals are very thorough, professional, and fully explained the process and results. Bravo, Roland Black! I highly recommend Roland Black to everyone without any doubt as they are honestly the best of the best!

Brand new HVAC on hottest day Oct 18, 2024

Roland Black and his crew were wonderful to work with. They came out on Tuesday to look at the job. By Thursday afternoon we had a brand new up and running HVAC unit on one of the hottest days of the summer. They even helped us fix a hole created in the wall between our townhome and the one next door. The guys were friendly and hardworking guys who were also professional. They cleaned up everything in the end and showed us how to control the thermostat. I would highly recommend these guys.

Our 20-year-old HVAC unit was due for replacement. The Quote-Estimate was competitive, and the technical details were explained and easily understood. The installers, Mike and Russ, were polite and methodically went about their job. After the startup of the new system, they walked us through the functions of the new control panel. We are a repeat Roland Black customer, as they installed a system at another home back in the ’90s.

Exceptional service on a holiday weekend Aug 31, 2024

Highly recommend. Air went out Friday morning, before work. Service tech at my house shortly after I got home from work. Went under the house and came out with options. Our unit was 11 yrs old and, from picture he had taken, in bad shape. Within a few hours, sales came out to give us options for replacement. Calling the office for finance options during the process. Helped my husband get a window unit out of the attic to keep us cool for the night. 8 a.m. Saturday morning, the installers were here getting started replacing everything. Saturday evening we are in a cool house. I write such a long review to explain and show the speedy process we went through. These guys and gals (Brooklyn) are an amazing, caring, professional team. One last thing, this was a holiday weekend, Labor Day. Exceptional service. Thanks again guys!

I could not be happier with a company. Thank you to this incredible team for making my new HVAC system a priority. My AC stopped working a week after I had brain surgery. This team came out immediately and replaced the entire system in record time for a great price. They were on time, dedicated to the job, polite, cleanly, and most importantly, the high-quality systems were installed correctly!
